Kim Kilmer is the owner of Fairwayfox Dog Training based in Salisbury, Md. She has over 20 years of experience as an all breed canine behavior and training consultant. Kim is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, the Animal Behavior Society, The Dog Writers Association of America, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America and is a certified American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She has over 45 American Kennel Club titles to include those from Obedience, Agility and Herding events. She currently shows in conformation with her Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Kim is a freelance writer and contributing monthly pet columnist for Health Care Traveler magazine.
Group Classes:
Beginner Obedience-$110.00 per dog
8:00am - 9:00am on Tuesdays outdoors. This is an on lead class for dogs that are over 16 weeks of age. You will be taught how to get your dog to pay attention to you using positive and fun training skills. The following exercises will be taught: sit, down, stand, stay, walking nicely on lead and come.
Canine Good Citizen Class and Test-$120.00 per dog (includes CGC test)
9:15am - 10:15am on Tuesdays outdoors. This class is for dogs that are graduates of the beginner class or with instructor permission. The class teaches the skills necessary to pass the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen test. The test is included in this class and will be given the last night of the class.
Start Date for Session 1: April 3, 2008 with classes to be held April 3, 10, 24 and May 1, 8 and 16.
Start Date for Session 2: June 3, 2008 with classes to be help June 3, 10, 17, 24 and July 1 and 8.
